De Burgo’s Bar in Galway will open to singletons looking for love this 14 February with an exciting ‘Tinder Night’ event.

One Galway bar is hosting a Tinder Night this Valentine’s Day for all singletons looking for love this 14 February.

Asian-inspired Galway restaurant Bangin’ Noodles, located on Augustine Street, are behind the romance-filled event.

Taking place in De Burgo’s Bar, where Bangin’ Noodles is located, the Tinder Night will be similar to a classic speed dating event.

Last November, the restaurant held their first-ever Tinder Night at the Galway bar. This was a ‘Swipe Right Night’ aimed at college students.

Evan O’Ceallaigh, who owns Bangin’ Restaurant Group, which operates an online Asian food delivery service out of De Burgo’s Bar, said they organised the event as a “bit of craic”.

He continued, “We didn’t know what to expect and worried there may be a bit of ‘first date awkwardness’. But it was a great night, and the feedback we got about the energy and craic everyone had was amazing that we knew we had to organise another one!”

The Galway bar’s Tinder Night aims to take the awkwardness out of dating and make it a fun experience for everyone.

O’Ceallaigh explains, “We pimp out the pub, turn the music up a bit, and have loads of fun, games, and craic mixed into each date to make it a super fun night.”

The most romantic night of the year is on the way. So, Bangin’ want to make sure singletons could get in on the fun.

So, whether you’re looking for the one this Valentine’s Day or just don’t want to spend the night alone, the Tinder Night at this Galway bar could be the perfect way to join in on all the romantic festivities.

Speaking on the Tinder Night event, Nikola Kainarova, owner of Bangin’, said, “Let’s face it; Valentine’s Day can be a hard day for many, and some find it very awkward and tend to stay hidden away inside for the night.

“We want to have a space where those people can come and have a great night, have a few dates and enjoy their night. And not have to get the meal deal for one on Deliveroo. If you do want to do that, then Bangin Restaurant on Deliveroo is the place to get the best deal!”

More fun events in the pipeline – something for everyone

The Tinder Night event will take place in the Galway bar on Monday 14 February at 7:30 pm. The event is aimed at those in their late teens and early 20s.

However, those aged 30 plus need not feel like they’re missing out. Bangin’ Events are planning another Dating Night aimed at a more mature audience. An over 30s night is also in the pipeline. It will have Ireland’s own Daniel O’Donnell as a special guest and Pat Kenny pulling pints.

Check the Bangin’ Noodles’ Instagram and Facebook pages for more information on the event. There is an Eventbrite page set up to book tickets for the event.

Ticket sales open up this Wednesday 9 February at 9 am. Limited tickets are available, so be ready to book your place, or they’ll be gone!
