If you are a fan of Bridgerton, you will be well aware that its following is one of the most enthusiastic groups of devotees around.

Such is their love for the show that Nicola Coughlan remarked, “The Bridgerton fandom is one of the most passionate in the world, and I know you are dying to know what’s to come in season three”.

Speaking to a crowd of ultra-enthusiastic fans at Netflix’s Tudum: A Global Fan Event at Ibirapuera Park in Sao Paolo, Brazil, she geared up the crowd for an enchanting and dramatic new season, even offering sneak peeks of what’s to come.

“I can promise you quite the scandalous season,” Coughlan said. “We cannot wait to take you along for the carriage ride.”

The Derry Girls star also revealed early photos for the forthcoming season and divulged glimpses of her character Penelope Featherington’s storyline, adding an exciting layer of intrigue to the show’s build-up.

“This season, Penelope returns to London determined to become a new woman with a new independence and determination,” she said.

“Colin and Pen have done some growing up, and only time will tell how their friendship will develop. I can promise you are in for a magical and romantic season”.

In addition to her role in Bridgerton, Coughlan is set to star in the highly-anticipated new Barbie movie, scheduled for release in July. Her versatility as an actress continues to gain recognition, and fans eagerly anticipate seeing her in this exciting new project.

The event showcased other exciting Netflix news, exclusive first looks, clips, and exhilarating trailers. It hosted stars such as Gal Gadot, who stars alongside Jamie Dornan in his new movie, as well as Chris Hemsworth, Henry Cavill, and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

After two years as a virtual event, fans could finally attend Tudum in 2023. The event took place in Brazil on 17 June 2023, revealing never-before-seen footage and promoting upcoming films, series, and games.

As the excitement builds for season three of Bridgerton and the upcoming projects of these talented actors, fans eagerly await their return to the screen. With promises of scandal, romance, and magic, viewers are poised for another captivating journey into the Bridgerton world.
