    Ireland is one of the top destinations for the rich and famous. So, here are the top ten celebrities that love to holiday in Ireland.

    With our green rolling hills, the Wild Atlantic Way, and epic hiking opportunities, it is no wonder that the rich and famous love to holiday in Ireland.

    One of the reasons celebrities are drawn here is the privacy they enjoy. Irish people are not as intrusive when it comes to celebrity spotting as some other nations might be.

    It is no surprise that many of them love to walk around the streets and head to pubs and restaurants without a mob of security, which is something quite refreshing for those in the spotlight.

    On more than one occasion, you may just bump into one of them out and about. So, let’s see who these Irish-loving superstars are – here are the top ten celebrities that love to holiday in Ireland.

    10. Peter Kay – a funny man in Tipperary

    Comedian Peter Kay has a holiday home near Lough Derg in County Tipperary. He visits regularly, and who can blame him with Lough Derg being reinvented as Ireland’s Lake Como?

    9. John Slattery – there’s nothing mad about this man

    Well, with a name like that, you’d believe the Mad Men star must have Irish roots. And he does indeed.

    He loved his visit to Inisboffin, County Galway in 2011, and we are sure we’ll see him soon.

    7. Emily Ratajkowski – a model’s Irish memories

    The famous model spent many childhood summers in Bantry, County Cork. Since both her grandmothers are Irish, she loved visiting and continues to reconnect with her Irish roots in this beautiful region.

    6. Kim and Kanye – a honeymoon fit for Kardashians

    The previous couple, known as Kimye, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, spent their honeymoon in Ireland in 2014. When they were here, they travelled to Cork, Limerick, and Laois.

    The couple also enjoyed a cinema date in Tullamore, County Offaly, the same one Kanye had visited a few years prior.

    Can we call him a Dalkey man now? The Hollywood actor has made Dalkey in County Dublin his home away from home. And recently, he has even hinted at plans to move here.

    4. Sarah Jessica Parker – the perfect family getaway

    Along with her husband Matthew Broderick and their kids, the family have been holidaying in Ireland for quite some time now. Their holiday home is in the fabulous area of Kilcar in County Donegal.

    These ten celebrities that love to holiday in Ireland are well and truly overdue another trip back to their home from home once the world opens up, and we cannot wait to welcome them back.

    They love the privacy, the food and drinks, the scenery, and the warm welcome they receive each time they arrive. Plus, some of them love Ireland so much they have moved here or are planning to set up a home base – now that’s saying something!
