We all know and love this quirky Irish pair. So, here are ten crazy things you might have in common with Jedward!

Jedward are a combination that needs no introduction.

Having first appeared on the entertainment scene as part of the sixth series of the X Factor in 2009, they quickly became known to everyone, particularly the Irish.

The twins, who are Dublin-born, are well known for their unique hairstyles, bubbly personalities, quirky dress sense, and love for all things entertainment.

Boy, have they provided us with some good content over the years. You may not have realized, but there are most likely many things you might have in common with Jedward, so let us begin.

    10. You have a positive attitude – they are yes men

John and Edward, AKA Jedward, are very inspiring when it comes to their renowned upbeat attitude.

They have previously said that their least favourite words are no, can’t, and won’t, which is one of the truly awesome things you might have in common with Jedward.

    9. You LOVE sushi – they’re all about good food

One of the things you might have in common with Jedward is a love of sushi.

Do you like sushi as much as these boys? If you do, then this is something that you have in common because sushi is their absolute favourite food.

Being from Dublin, they don’t have far to go to find some delicious Japanese cuisine.

    8. You went to boarding school – private school boys

Like many Irish people, Jedward spent some of their younger years in boarding school in the capital.

They spent four years at Kings Hospital School before moving on to the prestigious private school, the Dublin Institute of Education, known locally as ‘The Institute’.

The Institute is one of the largest private secondary schools in Dublin.

    7. Your age – the boys are 30-year-old Libras

One of the things you might have in common with Jedward is your age.

The boys were born on 16 October 1991 in the Rotunda Hospital, Dublin. This makes them 30 years old, which might possibly be one of the things you might have in common with Jedward.

Being born at this time of the year also makes the boys fall into the zodiac category of Libra, renowned for being sociable, great listeners, and empathic. Sound familiar?

    6. Your name is John or Edward – it’s all in a name

If your name is John or Edward, you could be more like the pair than you think.

With John being one of the most popular names worldwide and Edward not far behind, there are no doubts that this could be one of the main things you have in common with Jedward.

If you did not know already (how could you not?), their stage name Jedward is, of course, a combination of both their names. How very creative!

    5. You love to wear unique outfits – matchy-matchy

One of the things you might have in common with Jedward is a love of quirky fashion.

One thing that makes these boys stand out from the crowd is the clothes they wear, and truth be told, these guys wear exactly what they want, without a care in the world. Props to them!

Another thing you have surely noticed is that they just love to match, and perhaps you do too?

Whatever they wear, they look happy, comfortable, and stylish, so good for them!

    4. You have (or had) a quirky hairstyle – gone but not forgotten

These boys have a hairstyle that gives them away instantly. Even if you just saw a silhouette of it, you would know it’s them by the unique hair shape they have.

Classically, they had the sides of their head shaved, with the middle part gelled up into the air. Shockingly, they have now shaved it all off, which was a monumental move for them.

It was all for charity, too!

    3. You’re a twin – two for the price of one

One of the things you might have in common with Jedward is being a twin.

Twins are extremely common around the world, so if you are a twin, this is certainly one thing you have in common with John and Edward.

These boys were born three months premature, and John is ten minutes older than Edward. Their twin bond is strong, that is for sure!

    2. You love entertaining – born to entertain

One of the main things you might have in common with Jedward is that entertainment is your fuel.

Jedward are well known for their incredible energy, choreographed performances, and iconic presence on the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest, representing their home country. Well done, boys!

    1. You’re Dublin-born – hailing from the capital

Jedward were born and bred in Dublin and grew up in the suburb of Lucan, which is just 12 km (7.5 miles) west of the capital.

If you, too, are from this part of the county, you certainly have this in common with the stylish pair. Who knows, maybe you passed them on your street once upon a time.
