    Ian in Brazil

An Irish lad has created an amazing video of him travelling the world after quitting his my job in Australia and making his way back to Ireland through 18 countries.

Filmed with a GoPro Hero 3, Ian from Ireland travelled to Australia , Brazil, England, Ireland , U.S.A., Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Canada, Cambodia, Vietnam & Singapore. The total trip consisted of 18 countries and 24 border crossings.

Speaking to Meanwhile in Ireland, he said Galapagos Islands in Ecuador was probably the best place he visited because “it’s like a different world.” He went on to say his most memorable moment was “getting lost at sea while sailing on a small boat between Panama and Colombia. After hours of mayday calls we were eventually rescued by a giant cargo ship about 50 nautical miles from the coast of Colombia and then eventually rescued from that ship by the Colombian Navy drug squad.”

What an amazing experience it must have been!
