Netflix is on the hunt for a body double for the new film Irish Wish which will reportedly be starring Lindsay Lohan.

Streaming site Netflix has posted a casting call for its upcoming rom-com Irish Wish. The new film will reportedly star Lindsay Lohan, who is of Irish heritage.

The casting call was posted on the extras site MovieExtras.ie and said, “Full-time female body double for Netflix rom-com ‘Irish Wish’ required.”

MovieExtras said they had “a very exciting full-time role for a camera body double for a well-known actress on an upcoming Netflix rom-com called ‘Irish Wish’ shooting in Dublin/Wicklow.

“Applicants will need to be residing in Dublin and available Monday – Friday from Monday, September 5 – Friday, October 14. Transport to locations can be provided. Acting experience is an advantage as the role requires scenes with main cast members.”

Other essential criteria for those applying are they must be at least 18 years old, height 5’4, and dress size 6 to 8. They also must be “willing to have hair dyed red for the role if selected.”

If you think this sounds like you, you must submit a full-length picture, headshot, a photo of the back of your hair, and full measurements. Of course, it’s a paid role.

It is reported that the new film will be shot in Westport, Ireland West Airport in Mayo, and across many other locations in Ireland in the coming weeks.

Recently, Lohan, who is of Irish heritage, posted a photo on Instagram that appears to be a behind-the-scenes picture from a Netflix production. However, she did not reveal where the picture was taken.

Irish Wish – what the films about

Hello my friends and greetings from Dublin Ireland 🇮🇪 how is your week so far? Janeen and I are pre-production on a new romcom 🎥 🕵️‍♀️ can’t wait to share more news with you 🔜

Irish Wish is set in modern-day Ireland. Lindsay Lohan will play the leading role of Maddie in the movie. It will release on Netflix next year, according to Western People.

Apparently, the film is one of a two-movie deal that Lohan has signed with Netflix. The other movie is Falling for Christmas, which will release later this year during the festive season. This will be her return to film after several years away from the big screen.

Michael Damian, Director of Falling for Christmas, shared last month on Twitter that he was in Dublin for pre-production of the new rom-com. He later posted a picture at Powerscourt Golf Club in Wicklow.
