Christmas has come early for Irish grannies, mammies, and adoring fans around the world as Daniel O’Donnell makes his TikTok debut.

It seems that Daniel O’Donnell is well and truly keeping up with the times as he has made his first venture into the world of TikTok.

We have a feeling he’s going to do very well on the platform. His first video, posted just last night, has already racked up almost 500k views.

In the video, where he introduces himself to viewers, he captioned it, “Expect more content from me soon”, so we can only look forward to what’s to come.

Along with the video, the caption reads, “Expect more content from me soon”. He is welcomed to the platform with open arms in the comment section.

Irish dancing group Cairde commented, “The king has arrived”, along with many “I love you” comments from adoring fans.

Daniel O’Donnell’s TikTok debut comes right before the release of his latest album ‘I Wish You Well’. The album, which comes out on 4 November this year, will feature some of Daniel’s favourite songs as well as lots of new originals.

The Donegal man’s latest album will be available on Deluxe CD + DVD, standard 1LP black vinyl and CD formats.

According to O’Donnell’s website, if you pre-order the deluxe version now, you will receive “an exclusive, hand-signed print from Daniel: ‘I Wish You Well!’”.

Plus, the pre-order comes with “an extended 14 song tracklist with an additional two songs” and “a behind-the-scenes in the studio DVD”.

According to the site, there will be “lots of content shared on social media”. So, we can assume we have the album to thank for Daniel’s venture into TikTok.

The first song from the album to be released will be ‘Under A Spell Of Loving You’. He will be touring the new album in the UK in May 2023. Tickets for which the tour went live on 30 September.

You can pre-order the new album by one of Ireland’s biggest national treasures or get tour tickets here. For more on big man, check out our article 10 things you didn’t know about Daniel O’Donnell.
