Lovers of classic game shows will be pleasantly surprised now that it has been unveiled that Irish comedian and TV personality Graham Norton will host Wheel of Fortune next year.
The classic game show Wheel of Fortune, which initially aired in the USA in 1975 before reaching UK screens in 1988, is due to be revived by none other than Kildare TV personality Graham Norton.
The much-loved show, last aired on UK television in 2001, is set to bring the family together once again for nostalgia and classic entertainment.

While the nation goes wild knowing their beloved show will return to screens by 2024, no one is more excited than the forthcoming host, who has been reported to say he is “beyond excited” to revive this “iconic” TV game show.
Norton said it was the perfect opportunity since his first TV job was as a game show host for ITV, which paved the way for his successful career.
“My first ever TV job was a game show on ITV, so this feels like coming full circle,” said Norton. “You might even call it a wheel!”.

Previous hosts of the iconic show include Nicky Campbell, the show’s first host. Campbell was followed by Bradley Walsh, John Leslie, and Paul Hendy. Meanwhile, Angela Ekaette, Carol Smillie, Jenny Powell, and Terri Seymour were featured as fabulous assistants.

The much-anticipated show is due to air for eight exciting and fun-filled episodes, including two very special celebrity episodes, details of which are yet to be unveiled.
The nation is excited that the former judge of Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK, and host of The Graham Norton Show and Eurovision is set to add another exciting addition to his already incredible list of accomplishments.
