After his performance at Belsonic in Ormeau Park in Belfast on Sunday night, Lewis Capaldi was pleasantly surprised with a ‘mega pint’ of Guinness in Belfast’s Town Square Bar.

Scottish singer Lewis Capaldi has been in the city for Belsonic, which has been running since 3 June. He formed in Ormeau Park on Sunday night.

Following his performance at the event, Lewis Capaldi and a group of friends took to Town Square Bar on Botanic Avenue, where Capaldi was surprised with a ‘mega pint’ of Guinness.

Lewis Capaldi was pleasantly surprised with Town Square’s ‘mega pint’, which is made up of exactly four pints of Guinness. He had asked for a regular pint but got more than he bargained for.

The bar shared the video on their social media with the caption, “When Lewis Capaldi orders a regular but gets served a Mega Pint instead.” In the video, the Scottish singer looks pleasantly surprised, saying, “Oh wow! Thanks!”.

Lewis Capaldi entertained fans at Belsonic, Belfast, on Sunday night. He performed songs from his debut and only album, Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent. Also, fans were delighted when he did a cover of Vanessa Carlton’s famous love song, ‘A Thousand Miles’.

When his debut album was released in May 2019, it became the best-selling album in the UK in five years, and it spent five weeks at number one in its first six weeks of release.

With all the success of this album, fans are on pins and needles wondering when Capaldi will grace us with our next fix.

In the last week, Lewis Capaldi has performed in Dublin and Cork as well as Belfast. He has had fans cracking up, apologising for not making a new album over lockdown. If you were at his Malahide gig, you’ll know exactly what his unsavoury reasoning was!

At his Cork gig in Musgrave Park, he had guests cracking up as he jokingly told the crowd to “shut up” because the song wasn’t over, and they had begun a round of applause. We hope to see more of Capaldi very soon. A new album is long overdue!
