The cast and crew of the HBO hit fantasy-drama Game of Thrones spent plenty of time out shooting on location at some of the top beauty spots in Northern Ireland.

However, for the indoor film shoots, they were in the Titanic Studios making use of the world-class filming facilities on offer here.

However, the chapter on Game of Thrones has now closed, and Belfast’s iconic Titanic Studios is up for sale.

The property is listed by specialist commercial property consultants Riddell McKibbin.

Announcing the listing, the company’s director Mark Riddell said, “This is a truly unique space, and there will be no doubt much excitement as this studio, now known all over the world due to shows filmed here, comes to the market.

“The studio is a once-in-a-lifetime investment opportunity for any purchaser. So, we would not expect this to remain on the market for long.”

Sitting on approximately three acres (1.21 hectares) of land held by a 250-year lease from Belfast Harbour Commissioners, started in 2012, the property is sure to be much sought-after by investors.

Inside, you can find two stages, known as the MacQuitty and Hurst Stages. These are set inside a massive standalone steel portal framed building.

Two large clear span studios are connected by a sizeable acoustic door. Thus, allowing for combined use of the area as one large space.
