Ahead of the big day, the Meanwhile in Ireland shop has released the Sláinte range to get you kitted out for St. Patrick’s Day.

Get kitted out for Paddy’s Day with the MII shop’s Sláinte range.

We’re only five days into March, but there’s one date on all Irish minds right now – 17 March.

Yep, St. Patrick’s Day is just under two weeks away, and we’re sure people across the country and further afield are planning their festivities – and their outfits – already.

If you’re stuck for something to wear this Paddy’s Day, fear not! The Meanwhile in Ireland shop’s Sláinte range will get you sorted!

Ireland is called the Emerald Isle for a reason – its breathtaking green landscapes are a sight to behold. Beyond just the moniker, the colour green is ubiquitous in Irish culture, affecting everything from the flag to the sports teams.

Obviously, it stands to reason that the colour is also synonymous with that most Irish of days that comes around every March.

However, the colour green actually became associated with St. Patrick due to his use of the abundant shamrock to teach the Holy Trinity. But we digress, this isn’t a religion class…

Either way, the colour is inescapable on St. Patrick’s Day, with revellers dressing head-to-toe in green and countries even lighting up their national monuments in various shades.

Now, we’re sure you already have something green to throw on on St. Patrick’s Day, but if you fancy freshening up your wardrobe before the big day, the Meanwhile in Ireland shop has you covered with the launch of its Sláinte t-shirt range.

The range comes in two distinct designs, each depicting symbols as synonymous with Ireland as the colour green – a pint of plain and a shamrock – under the traditional Irish toast, ‘Sláinte’, which means ‘health’ as Gaelige.

The t-shirts are available in two different shades of green, making them pub-ready for the St. Patrick’s Day festivities. Not a fan of green? Get your hands on a sleek black version and wear it year-round!

The Meanwhile in Ireland shop – unique Irish gifts

The Sláinte range is just the latest on the well-stocked Meanwhile in Ireland online shop, your one-stop spot for unique Irish gifts.

Our latest t-shirt design joins other clothing items celebrating Irish cultural cornerstones like hurling and Xtra-vision, and the importance of Irish heritage to the sizeable diaspora in North America.

You can also get your hands on our jewellery range, offering everything from timeless Irish designs to modern takes on classics and bold pieces that stand out from the crowd.
