Infamous Irish burrito bar Boojum is calling on students to apply for the ‘Mex Top Hand Model’ competition. Could you be the hand behind the brand?
Boojum is often best loved by students after a night on the lash, on the heavy morning after, or as a pick-me-up after class.
But now, the company has found another way to lure students in. Enter Boojum’s ‘Mex Top Hand Model’ competition to get your hands on the prize.
More than just lunch – an amazing opportunity for students
One lucky student now has the chance to launch their hand model career through the beloved Irish brand. Essentially, they are giving students a financial hand with a hand job model contract.
Not only are Boojum offering a £/€5000 hand model contract to the photogenic winner, but also a year of free food and manicures as part of the job. Pretty handy.
A helping hand – worry-free income
On their website, they state, “Freshers 2021 is here and this year we’re giving one lucky student the chance to get their mitts on a serious fistful of dollars and be the face, erm, hand of the brand as Boojum’s official hand model!
“No more worrying over getting that work-life-study balance just right.
“If you’re a student and the sort of person who can’t wait to smash a pic of that phat burrito up on the ‘gram […] this could be the handiest part-time job you’ll ever have!”
The competition – how does it work?
Once submissions close, five lucky entrants will be selected at random and must submit their best hand model poses.
From there, a public vote on Boojum’s social media pages will decide the winner. It’s like a Willy Wonka golden ticket for students.
After that, the only way is up for the lucky Mex Top Hand Model winner!
Boojum hand model job for students – how did this all begin?
Boojum began its life in Botanic Avenue, with its first burrito bar popping up there. Now, there are 17 restaurants all over Ireland.
A large majority of their consumers are students, and now it appears the brand are giving back to their most dedicated consumers.
Boojum Marketing Manager Paul McCullagh, speaking on the opportunity, said, “Boojum has always been a student-focused brand.
“University life can be financially stressful at the best of times, but these days especially, it seems as though tuition fees, accommodation prices, and the cost of living only ever go up.
“With that in mind, it’s no surprise that getting a part-time job is high on the priority list for so many students. We’re offering one lucky student this year the handiest money they’ll ever make.”
