How did the tattoo come about? Out of all the iconic Guinness logos and emblems, why did you opt for the toucan?

“I just had the idea one day of getting the toucans flying down my arm and it stuck in my head.
“My artist, @amyalicetattoo is always up for silliness and we always bounce daft ideas off each other when I get tattooed. I had the idea one day, knew she’d do a great job and a few months later finally got it done”.
Where serves the best pint of Guinness in Glasgow?
“The best Guinness is also at Malones and it’s not close”.
What’s your favourite bar in Ireland?
“Favourite bar back home is either Sandinos in Derry or the Beachcomber in Rathmullan which is my wee local”.
Where serves the best Guinness in Ireland?
“The Sheepwalk in Swinford, Co. Mayo has the best pint of Guinness I’ve ever had. Me and my mate passed through on the way to Galway because it’s where they filmed Hardy Bucks and I had a pint in there, unreal.
Do you remember your first pint of Guinness?

“My first pint was probably in the Beachcomber when I was definitely 18”.
What do you drink when you’re not drinking Guinness?
“Weirdly enough Guinness isn’t even my go-to, (I) drink more Tennent’s for sure. Just loved the idea of the toucans”.
Have you got any other tattoos? If so, which is your favourite/most meaningful?
“I’ve a lot of other tattoos. Some have meaning but a lot of them are silly ones I’ve done with Amy, one of the first tattoos she done for me is on my shoulder and it’s Father Ted kicking Bishop Brennan up the arse and I got that just because I thought it’d be funny”.
Would you ever get a tattoo inspired by another drink?
“I want to get tattoos of cartoon characters done up like the lager lovelies that Tennent’s used to have on the cans way back. Like Marge and Linda from Bob’s Burgers or something. I think that’d be funny”.
Name five Irish icons (dead or alive) you’d take for a pint of Guinness.
“I’m studying journalism and the number one person I want to interview is Sheamus from WWE so he’d be first on the pint list. Then I’d say Phil Lynott obviously. Barry Keoghan and Colin Farrell seem sound and I love them. Then the Donegal in me is saying I have to invite Daniel O’Donnell”.

So, there you have it folks. The man prefers Tennents! He merely loved the idea of the toucans. What do you think? Has he toucan this too far?
