    Kerry pub goes viral selling Ireland’s cheapest pint of Guinness

    With inflation and the cost of living continuing to rise, the one question on every Irish person’s lips is, “Where can we find the cheapest pint of Guinness?”

    A Kerry pub has gone viral after a social media post appeared to show the pub selling Ireland’s cheapest pint of Guinness.

    Helen’s Bar in Kilmackillogue has stunned people across the nation with its unbeatable prices, with people from all over Ireland vowing to make the pilgrimage to the Kerry pub.

    Promising bargain pints, many Dubs hit with the most expensive pints in Ireland are even planning to make the move to the County Kerry village.

    The rising cost of living is squeezing the purse strings of people across Ireland. So, many across the nation are wondering how they’re going to afford their next pint.

    Well, one Kerry pub might have just saved the day as Helen’s Bar in Kilmackillogue has gone viral for selling Ireland’s cheapest pint of Guinness.

    A happy customer took to social media to share the bargain prices of the Kerry pub; it wasn’t long before word got around about their reasonable cost of drinks.

    Posting a photo of their receipt to social media, the customer praised the value and hospitality of the Kerry pub. They wrote, “Food of the highest quality at prices that are hard to beat, and a real Irish welcome.

    It’s a long time since I paid less than €4 for a pint of Guinness too! Thanks to Helen and all at Helen’s Bar in Kilmackilllogue, County Kerry, for the experience! We’ll definitely be back.”

    The pictured receipt showed pints of Bulmers for €4.60, cans for €1.50, and meals for between €4.50 and €10. Still, perhaps most shocking, pints of Guinness are shown for a very reasonable €3.90.

    The full total of the bill, which featured mains, desserts, and drinks for a party of at least ten people, came in at €156.60. Thus, making that around a very reasonable €15 per person.

    With pints in the capital costing up to €10 depending on where you go, the Kerry pub has received lots of attention online for selling Ireland’s cheapest pint of Guinness.

    So far, the tweet has received almost 10,000 likes. Meanwhile, many Guinness fans have vowed to make the journey to Kerry just to try the pub.

    One person wrote, “This tweet should get blown up! Looks like an amazing place, and with a quick Google search, I’m already invested in the spot. Bring on the summer holidays.”

    Another fan of Helen’s Pub shared their positive experience on social media, writing, “Helen’s Pub is absolutely amazing. My family have been going there for decades and have also stayed in the bedrooms many times.

    “Wonderful place, beautiful views, delicious food, and the kindest people.”
