    With no signs of slowing down any time soon, Meanwhile in Ireland recently reached its latest milestone, surpassing one million followers across all social media platforms.

    Meanwhile in Ireland was founded in 2014 with the mission to celebrate the bizarre and humorous side of Ireland of Irish culture. 

    Sharing ‘all things Irish craic’, the website specialises in bizarre news, entertainment, and viral videos. Inspiring and entertaining its global audience, the website attracts hundreds of thousands of readers every month.

    Having won numerous awards in recent years, Meanwhile in Ireland has gone from strength to strength. Now, the website celebrates its latest achievement: a whopping one million followers on social media.

    With a global community of over 800,000 followers on Facebook, almost 150,000 on Instagram, and almost 40,000 on Tiktok, the website boasts a strong following across several social platforms.  

    Meanwhile on Ireland has also received recognition from some of the most prestigious social media awards. In 2023, the website was a finalist in the Irish E-commerce Awards and earlier this year, it reached the final in the renowned PR Moment Awards.
