With Christmas just around the corner, nothing excites us more than immersing ourselves in the Christmas spirit, doing our Christmas shopping with a warm drink in hand and eating our favourite chocolate treats.

Cadbury is well known for their massive variety of wrapped sweets, chocolate bars, hot chocolate varieties, and signature selection boxes. Still, the Cadbury chocolate coins bring back memories for us all.

Despite being off our shelves for nearly a decade now, Cadbury has decided that these popular treats will return with a bang for Christmas 2023, and we couldn’t be happier. So, if you are a fan of Cadbury, then this will be exciting news for you.

While it is still uncertain why this firm favourite was ever taken away from us, the nation is willing to let go of any hard feelings and is eager to get their hands on some smooth chocolate coins this festive season.

These deliciously smooth chocolate coins, which were wrapped in iconic gold paper, are the ideal stocking filler, and for years now, we have had to settle for alternatives.

This year, however, the old favourite is set to bring back a sense of nostalgia and smiles all around as they make their way into households across the country.

Cadbury is world famous for its unique smooth and creamy chocolate, which has been satisfying sweet tooths since 1824, but in 2014, they decided to scrap the beloved chocolate coins and opt for other varieties.

Concerning the shocking decision, the junior brand manager for Cadbury, Katie Hill, said, “If you cast your mind back to 2014, you may remember that Cadbury was breaking hearts […] as we announced the sad discontinuation of our much-loved chocolate coins”.

Those who have fond memories of this popular Cadbury variety will be delighted with the news, and it may even be the best Christmas ever now that these scrumptious chocolate coins are returning to supermarkets.

Hill added, “We’re thrilled to be able to finally announce we’ll be bringing back this beloved holiday treasure this year – a product which represents festive joy and nostalgia for so many”.

So, if you are searching for a stocking filler that will undoubtedly bring a smile to the faces of loved ones, keep your eyes peeled for Cadbury chocolate coins coming to a supermarket near you.

Could this be the best Christmas ever?
