This could be the greatest goal ever scored on Irish soil.
BOHEMIANS ace Ian Morris has surely scored the goal of the season, the century and possibly all time in his side’s FAI Cup semi-final replay against Cork City last night.
The Gypsies were trailing 2-0 at Turners’s Cross when they were in desperate need of a hero to give them a lifeline.
It was Morris who stepped up and produced a moment of brilliance, a magical shot from just outside the centre circle which went in off the underside of the crossbar.
The goal cut the deficit and gave his team hope but it ultimately wasn’t enough for Keith Long’s side as the Leesiders advanced to play Dundalk in the final for the fourth year in a row.
However, it was this goal from the losing team which stole all the headlines.
Get in there son!
