Unsurprisingly, yet another big Hollywood name has been spotted in Ireland since the country is a top choice for many directors and producers filming new movies.

Just recently, the actor of the hit show Breaking Bad, Giancarlo Esposito, was spotted in Dublin shooting for a fascinating new project.

Let’s spill the beans.

The acclaimed actor, well known for his portrayal of Moff Gideon in Disney’s The Mandalorian, Akela in The Jungle Book, Pastor Ramon Cruz in The Get Down, and of course, cold-hearted drug lord Gus Fring in Breaking Bad, has been spotted across the capital in recent days.

The actor is in town to film for a new project, catch up with old friends, and enjoy all the best attractions Dublin has to offer.

Not only did he tour some of the capital’s best spots, including Trinity College in the city and the Forty Foot in Dun Laoghaire, the happy chappy even took the time to pose for pictures with fans, which he then posted on his Twitter account.

Posting to his millions of followers, his caption read, “Visiting my buds in Ireland! So much love! 1st day on set for a new project is coming up soon! Am I ready? You bet I am! More to come!

He also got to “hang with the Irish young bucks at ‘Forty Foot’”, sharing a fantastic photo of himself with a group of excited teens at one of the capital’s best swimming spots.

His enthusiasm for the country continued as he told followers on both Twitter and Instagram, “I love the fuckin’ Irish!”.

Sure, who doesn’t?

Spotting celebs in and around Dublin is not uncommon, and Harry Styles, Ed Sheeran, and Macklemore are among the many who have been sighted across the capital.

During lockdown, Hollywood movie star Matt Damon settled into the Dublin 4 village of Dalkey, while other actors have been known to up and move here too.

While it is not confirmed if the actor did or did not take the plunge for a dip in the fresh Irish Sea, his promise is that fans won’t be kept in the dark regarding his new project.

As fans eagerly await more news regarding his upcoming role, there is no doubt that locals will keep an eye out for a glimpse of, or a photo with, the Breaking Bad actor.

With a new project underway and numerous awards under his belt for his former roles, we are all on the edge of our seats, anticipating what Hollywood creation is in the making.
