This has to be one of the most bizarre yet brilliant videos on the internet.

A yearly 800-metre sprint at the Limerick Racecourse is organised to raise money a local GAA club in Limerick. Last year’s event was posted online and has been watched over half a million times.

The event wasn’t just a novelty race, it was a true nail-biting event which went on to the very end. The race had everything, including a dramatic last few seconds, which resulted in the race becoming an internet sensation.

The commentary of the whole race makes it even better as the commentator is just so sure that the race is over, but even he couldn’t have anticipated what was next.
