Drone footage of Ireland has been increasing in numbers over the past few years on social media. Although almost all of the drone footage of Ireland is absolutely fantastic, this one we have come across trumps all others.

The video called ‘Atlantic Light’ was shot and uploaded online by Cork-born photographer Peter Cox.

The footage of Ireland was all captured on perfect days, and the quality of the camera shows how beautiful our island really is. The footage, which was shot along the west coast of Ireland, is out of this world.

Included in the video is iconic shots from Mizen Head in Cork, all the way past Mayo to Donegal.

On the Vimeo video description, Cox explains, “for over a year now, I’ve been working on a project to produce a new book of aerial photographs of Ireland’s west coast. While making these images, I’ve also been shooting video with a view to producing a short film.
“This represents a highlight reel of the journey to date along the Wild Atlantic Way. ”
What a beautiful country Ireland is.
